Austrian deco bird brooch, or lapel pin, the bird with small diamonds and buff-top sapphires, sitting on a formalized branch set with coral. The brooch bears Austrian control marks in use from 1922, and the maker's mark of Artur Tuschak. The business seems to have closed in 1922, so this must be one of the last pieces he made. The twin prongs have a push-on 'stopper'
